The purpose of this church shall be the advancement of the Kingdom of God and to follow the Living Christ. It shall seek to attain this end through the public worship of God, the preaching of the Gospel, consistent Christian living by its members, personal evangelism, missionary endeavor, and Christian education.
WHAT WE BELIEVE:
The Bible is the inspired, the only infallible authoritative word of God. (II Timothy 3:16)
The one God, eternally existent in three person: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19)
Our Lord Jesus Christ is God and man in one person. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, vicariously atoned for sin through His shed blood and death. He was bodily resurrected from the dead; He ascended to the right hand of God the Father and will personally return in power and glory. (Colossians 2:9)
Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation of lost and sinful men. (Titus 3:5-7)
The Holy Spirit indwells all true believers and enables them to live a godly life. (Ephesians 5:19)
There is a spiritual unity of all true believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:14-18)
Both the saved and the lost will be resurrected from the dead; they are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (Matthew 25:31-32, Matthew 25:41, Matthew 25:46, Acts 17:31)
The local church is the primary God-established base of operation for evangelistic activity in the world. (I Corinthians 1:2, Matthew 28:19)
Every true believer is commissioned of Christ to, "preach the gospel to every creature" and to "make disciples of all nations." (Matthew 28:19)
There are only two ordinances ordained by Christ our Lord in the New Testament, that is to say, baptism by immersion and the supper of the Lord. (Matthew 28:19, I Corinthians 11:20, I Corinthians 11:23)
